埃迪塔·格鲁贝罗娃被媒体盛赞为“毋庸置疑的第一女高音”“百变花腔”“美声女王”“欧洲夜莺”和歌剧界的“天山童姥”。这些赞美之词从她所到之处无不掌声雷动的现象中得到了充分的印证。

格鲁贝罗娃出生在今斯洛伐克的首府布拉迪斯拉法,并在布拉迪斯拉法音乐学院学习,后赴维也纳师从著名的鲁塞尔德·伯施大师。格鲁贝罗娃在维也纳国家歌剧院由卡尔·伯姆指挥的歌剧《阿里阿德涅在拿索斯岛》中饰演的泽比内塔一角成为了其职业生涯迈入国际领域的开端。

此后,她开始陆续在世界各地的重要歌剧院中演出,包括斯卡拉歌剧院、纽约大都会歌剧院、巴伐利亚国立歌剧院、维也纳国家歌剧院等。她饰演的泽比内塔、康斯坦丝(后宫诱逃)、唐娜·安娜(唐·璜)、罗西娜(塞维利亚理发师)、吉尔达(弄臣)、薇奥莉塔(茶花女)和露琪亚(拉美莫尔的露琪亚)大受欢迎。与她合作的指挥家包括:卡拉扬、索尔蒂、卡尔·伯姆、海丁克、卡洛斯·克莱伯、阿巴多、穆蒂、詹姆斯·莱文、小泽征尔等。

“倘若理查德·瓦格纳在有生之年能结识格鲁贝罗娃女士,那么他一定会为她特地谱写一部《纽伦堡的女名歌手》。”这是 2013 年获颁巴伐利亚国家歌剧院“名歌手勋章”时的颁奖词。同年,她获颁赫伯特·冯·卡拉扬音乐奖。

2017—18 乐季,格鲁贝罗娃迎来了她舞台生涯的第 50 周年,包括维也纳国家歌剧院、巴伐利亚国立歌剧院、柏林国家歌剧院和苏黎世歌剧院在内的多家歌剧院都为她安排了特别的庆祝职业生涯 50 周年的纪念音乐会。与此同时,她在全球各地也开启了告别之旅。


指挥:彼得·瓦伦托维克

1980 年出生于斯洛伐克的彼得·瓦伦托维克,最早是以钢琴家和钢琴声乐指导的身份成功步入自己的职业生涯。在师从维也纳音乐与艺术表演大学的利奥波德·海格教授和巴黎国立高等音乐学院的索尔特·纳吉教授学习指挥之前,他曾赢得了多次国内的钢琴大赛。

彼得·瓦伦托维克是蒂罗尔音乐节的重要音乐成员和意大利博尔扎诺剧院的负责人。他是南非开普敦歌剧院的指挥兼合唱指挥,也是伊斯坦布尔国家歌剧院的首位驻院指挥。他曾与约翰·艾略特·加德纳爵士,弗朗兹·威尔瑟 - 莫斯特和弗里德里希·海德尔一起合作。

目前,彼得·瓦伦托维克是斯洛伐克最受欢迎的指挥家之一。他是斯洛伐克爱乐乐团、布拉迪斯拉发斯洛伐克国家歌剧院和科希策国家歌剧院的常任客席指挥。2018 年 9 月,他被任命为布拉迪斯拉发斯洛伐克广播交响乐团的首席指挥。

2013 年 9 月,他在维也纳河畔剧院的埃迪塔·格鲁贝罗娃独唱音乐会上首次以指挥家的身份首演。此后,彼得·瓦伦托维克与这位传奇花腔女高音歌唱家开始了长期的合作,并以指挥家或钢琴家的身份陪同格鲁贝罗娃女士在世界各地演出,包括慕尼黑巴伐利亚国家歌剧院、苏黎世歌剧院、维也纳国家歌剧院、米兰斯卡拉歌剧院和东京等地。

Edita Gruberová is celebrated by the press as “prima donna assoluta, coloratura-phenomenon, Queen of the Belcanto”. Enthusiastic ovations of the audience after every appearance confirm it.

Edita Gruberová was born in Bratislava where she studied at the conservatory and with Ruthilde Boesch in Vienna. Her international career began at the Vienna State Opera as Zerbinetta in ARIADNE AUF NAXOS with Karl Böhm conducting. Since then Mrs. Gruberová is enthusiastically applauded all over the world for her interpretations of the roles of Zerbinetta, Konstanze, Donna Anna, Rosina, Gilda, Violetta and Lucia at the leading opera houses such as Teatro alla Scala, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Metropolitan Opera New York, the Opera Houses of Munich, Vienna, Hamburg, Geneva, Zurich, Florence, Paris, Berlin and Barcelona. Edita Gruberová was a regular guest at the Salzburg and the Munich Opera Festival. 

Edita Gruberová who is also highly acclaimed as a concert singer, holds the title of Austrian and Bavarian “Kammersängerin”. She is an honorary member of the Vienna State Opera and was awarded many distinctions: the distinguished Italian Franco-Abbiati-Price for the best interpretation of an Italian opera role (Lucia), the Sir-Lawrence-Olivier-Award and il Bellini d’Oro for her exceptional performances. She received twice the Order of the White Double Cross (Second Class), the highest state decoration of the Republic of Slovakia. Besides, she was decorated with the Herbert von Karajan Prize, the order of merit of the Austrian Republic, The Austrian Prize for Musical Theatre (Goldener Schikaneder) for her lifetime achievement, the Richard Strauss badge of honour and the Tatra Banka Foundation Prize for Art.

In the season 2017/18 Edita Gruberová has her 50th Anniversary on stage. The Vienna State Opera, the Bavarian State Opera Munich, the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Zürich Opera House have arranged special Gala evenings for her at this occasion.


Peter VALENTOVIČ, conductor

Born 1980 in Slovakia, Peter Valentovič began his successful career as a concert pianist and répétiteur. He won several national piano competitions before he started his studies in conducting with Leopold Hager at the Music University in Vienna and with Zsolt Nagy at the Conservatoire National Superiéur in Paris.

During his studies in Vienna he was awarded with the “Viktor Bunzl Scholarship” for an extraordinary artistic talent.

Peter Valentovič was head of the music staff of the Tiroler Festspiele Erl and at the Teatro Comunale Bolzano. He was conductor and chorusmaster at the Cape Town Opera in South Africa and first resident conductor of the Istanbul State Opera. 

He worked with Sir John Elliot Gardiner, Franz-Welser-Möst and Friedrich Haider. 

Currently, Peter Valentovič is among the most popular conductors in Slovakia. He is a regular guest at the Slovak Philharmonic, the Slovak National Opera in Bratislava and the State Opera Kosice. In September 2018 he was appointed as the chief conductor of the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra in Bratislava.

Peter Valentovič also worked with the following orchestras (a.o.): ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra (Vienna), Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, Zurich Chamber Orchestra, Munich Symphony Orchestra, Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Staatskapelle Berlin, Welsh National Orchestra, Essener Philharmoniker, Orchestra Haydn of Bolzano and Trento, Orchestra Toscanini Parma, SWR Symphony Orchestra Freiburg and Baden-Baden, Malmö Opera Orchestra, Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, Budapest State Opera Orchestra, Prague State Opera Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Sapporo Symphony Orchestra and Osaka Symphony Orchestra.

At the Vienna State Opera he worked as a vocal and language coach and musical assistant for Czech and Russian repertoire. He also worked as a vocal coach in Opera Bastille and Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.

In September 2013 he made his successful conducting debut at the Theater an der Wien in a Gala, Concert with Edita Gruberová.

As a pianist Peter Valentovič accompanies recitals with Edita Gruberová at the Bavarian State Opera Munich, the Zurich Opera, in Passau, Baden-Baden, Frankfurt, Tokyo, the Vienna State Opera and La Scala in Milano.
